How to play Breakout
Move the paddle along the bottom with your mouse, the arrow keys, or your finger to keep the ball in play. Each brick the ball hits is destroyed and adds to your score. Clear every brick to win — but don’t let the ball fall past your paddle. You have three lives.
- The angle the ball leaves your paddle depends on where it hits — use the edges to aim.

How do you play Breakout?
Move the paddle to bounce the ball into the bricks above. Destroy all the bricks to win, and keep the ball from falling below the paddle. You have three lives.
How do you control the ball in Breakout?
The ball bounces off the paddle at an angle based on where it lands — hit it with the edge of the paddle to send it sideways, or the middle to send it straight up.
